bookMarks Library Program
bookMarks is a robust library program for children and adults that extends throughout LA County from Diamond Bar to La Crescenta and Castaic, Malibu to Compton and East LA. Libraries choose a topic that meets the needs of their community or they can select a series of workshops on a particular subject like Stories and Myths or Introduction to Art. Basic visual arts skills are taught and diverse media are used. Global art and holidays are celebrated. We have taught at over 120 libraries. Our goal is to celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our communities and introduce our participants to global cultures.
